Exporting to Tanzania - Intertek renews contract with Tanzania Bureau of Standards for its Pre-Shipment Verification of Conformity Programme (PVoC)
Intertek has renewed its contract, for a further period of 2 years, with the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) to operate its Pre-Shipment Verification of Conformity (PVoC) Programme.
As per the requirements of the PVoC Programme, Exporters of regulated product shipments to Tanzania will need to obtain the Certificate of Conformity from Approved Service Providers, such as Intertek prior to shipment at the Country of Supply.
Exporters engaged in trade with Tanzania need to be aware of the requirements of the PVoC and are encouraged to contact their local Intertek Offices to find out how Intertek can assist them in obtaining the mandatory CoC.
