ASTC+ Successfully Concludes SASO-Delegated SQM Factory Inspection

Obtaining the SQM (Saudi Quality Mark) certification for switches and sockets is a crucial step in exporting to the Saudi market. In mid-November 2023, ASTC+ proudly received a delegation from the Saudi Standards Organization for SQM audits. On November 29, 2023, they successfully completed the factory inspection task for a Chinese switch and socket company, ensuring that their exported products meet the rigorous certification requirements of the Saudi market.

In line with SQM certification requirements, socket products must adhere to standards such as IEC 60884-1, BS1363-2, and SASO 2203. These standards encompass the design, materials, safety performance, and reliability requirements for sockets, ensuring product safety and reliability during use.

Additionally, switch products must align with the specifications of the IEC 60669-1 standard—an international standard established by the International Electrotechnical Commission—which covers aspects like switch design, operational characteristics, and electrical performance. By meeting these stringent standards, our switch products can deliver stable and reliable electrical control functions, offering users a seamless and secure experience.
